BradyGames Grand Theft Auto V Signature Series Guide Book Review

BradyGames, Grand Theft Auto V, PS4, Xbox One, videogame, guide, GTA VOriginally available on 17 September 2013, “Grand Theft Auto V” was such a huge hit, it almost demanded a port to the latest console generation, which debuted within two months of the game’s release.  While Nintendo’s Wii U is technically part of the new generations of consoles, Rockstar decided against trying to port the game over. Unfortunately, there is no discount for latest version of Rockstar’s flagship franchise, but they did add plenty of improvements and new content. With the new version of the game, BradyGames has also released an updated and expanded guide to help players with all of the new and old content.

Now on the Playstation 4, and Xbox One, “Grand Theft Auto” has never looked or played better and BradyGames has it all covered, in addition to its exclusive “Grand Theft Auto Online” coverage. In addition to the well-publicized new first person mode and the expected graphical improvements, Rockstar has added new land and sea animals, and the vehicles and weapons from all 11 of the free “GTA Online” updates to the story mode.  Over 120 new props have also been added to the creator tools, in the new “GTA Online.” “The Grand Theft Auto V Signature Series Strategy Guide” covers all of these new additions and enhancements to “GTA V” including planning and execution of all heists, maximizing the strengths of all three characters and the most effective weapon for each scenario to win a Gold Medal.

BradyGames has covered every square mile of land and sea in Los Santos and Blaine County to help players find every collectible and complete all activities in “Grand Theft Auto V.”  The new guide adds over 60 pages, putting it at nearly 500 pages, and is comprehensive enough for even the most hardcore completionist.  As with the original guide, the mission maps could be a little more precise, but as big as the game is, it’s a small criticism.  “The Grand Theft Auto V Signature Series Strategy Guide” is worthy companion to the game and will certainly add value the game, whether it’s a gift or not.
